KC Convent School Admission Process

At KC Convent School, we welcome students from diverse backgrounds to be a part of our learning community. Our admission process is designed to ensure a smooth and transparent procedure for parents and students.

Step 1: Admission Inquiry

• Interested parents can visit the school office or contact us through phone/email for information regarding admissions.
• The school admission brochure, which includes details about the curriculum, facilities, and fee structure, will be provided to the parents.

Step 2: Submission of Application Form

• Parents need to fill out the admission application form available at the school office or on the school website.
• Required documents (photocopies) to be attached with the application form:
  1. Birth certificate of the student
  2. Previous school report card (for transfer students)
  3. Passport-sized photographs of the student and parents
  4. Aadhaar card or other ID proof of the student
  5. Address proof (Ration Card, Electricity Bill, etc.)

Step 3: Admission Test / Interview

• For primary and secondary students, an entrance test will be conducted to assess the student’s academic abilities.
• The test will include subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science.
• For lower classes, an informal interaction with the child and parents may be conducted to understand the child’s readiness for school.

Step 4: Review and Interaction

• After the test and interaction, the school will review the application, entrance test results, and previous academic performance (if applicable).
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a meeting with the Principal and admissions team.

Step 5: Admission Confirmation

• Once the application is approved, parents will receive an admission confirmation from the school.
• Parents will be required to complete the admission formalities by submitting the original documents and paying the first installment of the school fee.

Step 6: Orientation and Start of Classes

• Once the admission is confirmed, parents and students will be invited for an orientation program.
• The academic session will commence as per the school calendar.

Admission Criteria

1. Age Criteria:
   • Nursery: 3+ years
   • Kindergarten: 4+ years
   • Class I and above: Based on age and previous class attended
2. Availability of Seats: Admissions are based on seat availability.
3. Merit-based Admissions: Higher grades are subject to merit based on entrance test performance.
